Yes the setting in the server is such that they will disconnect idle sessions(idle for 3 minutes).
Is there by any mechanism we can overcome this in SQLA, instead of connecting again and again and losing any data in the VT's?
In Putty and all we have an option to send send alive packets to keep the connection alive with the unix servers.
